The Econ-2 arrows are our most 'econ'omical line of arrows. They are a
FANTASTIC VALUE for those who are on a finely-tuned, limited budget
but still want a nice arrow with the option of being painted with the
Cub Scout's accomplishment bands.
The
standard style (noted with #1 in the picture) is the bare shaft with a
yellowish color because they are expensive Birch shafts. The standard
Econ-2 arrow comes with no shaft stain or paint, two plastic feathers
or vanes (one blue and one yellow), and a round, polished steel,
factory made field or target point similar to the arrows sold in
sporting goods stores. However, our target points are of highly
polished, shinny steel (while supplies last) like you normally DO NOT
see on other target arrows.
The arrow
pictured with the #2 is the Econ-2 with requested accomplishment
bands. When accomplishment bands are requested on these arrows, the
shafts will be stained to help the painted bands stand out better. The
painted bands in the picture are Double-stripe accomplishment bands
representing Bobcat, Webelo, 9 Webelo activity pins, one compass
point, and the Arrow of Light.
If desired,
the plastic feathers can be replaced with REAL feathers. One dyed a
yellowish/gold and one dyed a royal blue. The REAL FEAHTERS are
already trimmed when purchased to a style just like the plastic ones.
