The Econ-1 arrows are a FANTASTIC VALUE for those who are on a limited budget but still want an original flint point made by an American flintknapper! They are 'econ'omy arrows with a flint point for that attractive look.

The standard style (noted with #1 in the picture) is the bare shaft with a yellowish color because they are expensive Birch shafts. The standard Econ-1 arrow comes with no shaft stain or paint, two plastic feathers or vanes (one blue and one yellow), and SPIRIT WIND's fastest-made, cheapest flint points, while available. The flint points on these arrows are styled after, and look like, most imports you will see at tourist traps. They are similar to flint points other sellers of arrows are CLAIMING to make, however, rest assured that each point is made one-at-a-time right here in Texas by SPIRIT WIND's very own Extreme Flintknapper, Robert Killgo. The points will vary in size, as shown in the pictures, but every effort will be made to get points close to the same size within one order. Please note that these points are our "fastest made" points and some will have slight curves to them, the thickness will vary to each point, and the size, color, and shape will vary to each point as well. Lastly, please note also that points made by other knappers, imported or not, will be substituted as needed and will also vary as stated above. If you want flint points SPECIFICALLY MADE BY ROBERT KILLGO, please be sure and make a clear note with your order so we can be sure you get his points only, but understand that could cause a delay in receiving your order if we are currently out of his.

The arrow pictured with the #2 is the Econ-1 with requested accomplishment bands. When accomplishment bands are requested on these arrows, the shafts will be stained to help the painted bands stand out better. The painted bands in the picture are Double-stripe accomplishment bands representing Bobcat, Webelo, 12 Webelo activity pins, one compass point, and the Arrow of Light.

If desired, the plastic feathers can be replaced with REAL feathers. One dyed a yellowish/gold and one dyed a royal blue. The REAL FEAHTERS are already trimmed when purchased to a style just like the plastic ones.

• additional PLASTIC feather -- add $2.00 per arrow (this will put three plastic feathers on this arrow style, two yellow and one blue)

• replace plastic feathers with REAL FEATHERS - add $2.49 per arrow for the two real feathers)

• additional REAL feather -- add $2.00 per arrow (this will put three real feathers on this arrow style, two yellow and one blue)

custom points ---- We apologise for the inconvenience, but our higher grade arrow points are not available on this arrow style. If you prefer higher grade stone points, then please choose our parallel-shaft or tapered-shaft arrows.
