These are beautiful, hardwood-shafted arrows with excellent flint points of various sizes, shapes, colors, and textures. The tapered-shaft hardwood dowel arrow shafts themselves are all hand-made being tapered in diameter from the point end to nock end, giving each one a different and unique barrel-shape, and hand-painted with custom colors and designs. All of the shafts are 24" in length, not including the hafted flint points, and are of the 'self-nock' style. The three-feather fletching on the tapered-shaft arrows are imitation eagle feathers made from the best dyed turkey wing feathers available, which are glued with a form of natural hide glue and lashed on with artificial sinew, then the whole length of the feather is hand trimmed to a Native American style cut. The arrow fletching may also be left untrimmed providing for a "fluffier, puffier" look to the whole arrow. Bear in mind, though, that this type of fletching, the "big" fletching on the arrows, is not a common Native American style. The flint points are all set in place and then carefully and meticulously wrapped with artificial sinew.

These arrows are available in any quantity you would like. All of the arrow types, as well as the flint, bone, and steel points, are hand-made here at SPIRIT WIND and we keep as many arrows in stock as possible. We have also added two more economical styles of arrows in a lower price range: bone-tipped, and steel-tipped. Tapered-shaft arrows are made with a three-feather fletch and #2-grade flint points, and parallel-shaft arrows are made with a two-feather fletch and #3-grade flint points. Tapered- and parallel-shaft arrows are painted under the feathers, in the middle, and at the point end of the shafts. Bone-tipped and steel-tipped arrows are available with parallel-shafts only, are painted only under the feathers, and also come with a two-feather fletch. All arrows are painted with the Scouts colors of blue/yellow. Blue/gold is available at the customer's request at no extra charge, but does not look as good as the yellow. SPIRIT WIND will be happy to custom paint your accomplishment bands on your arrows, but please review the information and prices on the accomplishment bands page.. Custom arrow lengths are an additional $1.00 per arrow, and a custom charge of 30% will be added to the total of the arrow(s) price for any other special requests.

THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING SPIRIT WIND FOR YOUR QUALITY CEREMONIAL ARROWS!

SPIRIT WIND's Arrow of Light arrows are perfect for Cub Scout and Indian Guide/Princess presentations, as well as for the Boy Scout's Order of the Arrow recognition. The blue/yellow painted bands on the arrows pictured can be changed as needed, to accommodate a different ceremony's necessary colors. The degree of difficulty involved in changing a color banding pattern will determine if any additional charges will be required. Please inquire if interested in having SPIRIT WIND create the arrows you need for any other type of award ceremony.
